Abstract
The product design/manufacturing is a process which can evolve in the course of time according to the various trades implied throughout the product lifecycle. This process is based on a single produced model making it possible to manage not only the various trades’ viewpoints but also its various versions. We propose to study the evolution of the model jointly produced at the same time as of its process evolution. Following the process modeling presentation, we forward the VIM (Viewpoints information modelling) product model adjustment methodology presentation. Then, we deploy this approach around a multi trade case study thus proposing a multi viewpoints product model. We conclude the article by describing the functionalities to be developed in the PLM tools of tomorrow.
